Thank you for your interest in becoming a Third Party Fundraiser for the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF)!

Fundraising is a significant method by which financial support is obtained to enable ABCF’s life-saving programs. We are grateful for your efforts to help fund programs providing breast cancer awareness, education, and financial support to uninsured and underserved individuals to aid in the breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, and survival.

Please review the complete guidelines for Third Party Fundraising prior to submitting an event application form for approval. If you have any questions regarding Third Party Fundraising at the American Breast Cancer Foundation, please email us at hello@abcf.org.

What is a Third Party Event or Activity?

A third-party fundraising activity is defined as an event or initiative organized by supporters, donors, community members, or businesses that are not directly affiliated with ABCF, but choose to raise funds in support of ABCF’s mission. The activity does not require the financial responsibility of ABCF, and minimal to no support from its staff.

Applications to host a third party fundraising event are reserved for events that expect to raise $5,000 or more in support of ABCF’s mission.

For those planning on hosting a smaller fundraising event, ABCF offers the option to create an individual crowdfunding page to collect donations and share your support for early detection and breast cancer prevention.

How Can ABCF Help with the Fundraiser?

Hosting a fundraiser is a powerful way to support early detection, and ABCF is here to help. Below are details surrounding what we can and cannot provide to support your event.

What ABCF can provide:

  • Free downloadable promotional materials, including program overview flyers and QR codes, to help you share our mission. Printing and production costs are the responsibility of the event organizer.
  • ABCF may provide additional materials and branded giveaways, depending on the event’s fundraising goals and potential impact.
  • Once your Material Request and Event Proposal Forms has been submitted, ABCF’s team will review event details and determine the appropriate level of support.
  • A downloadable disclaimer to be included in promotional materials to clarify ABCF’s role as the beneficiary.
  • Approved fundraisers may use ABCF’s name and logo in promotional materials in accordance with brand guidelines.

What ABCF cannot provide:

  • ABCF is unable to cover or reimburse event costs, but at the organizer’s discretion, can use portions of the funds raised to cover costs such as printing, venue, or promotion in compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • ABCF staff are not able to attend third party fundraising events or provide direct staffing or volunteer support.
  • While ABCF may provide materials at its discretion, the organization cannot guarantee funding, sponsorship, or additional resources for third party events.
  • ABCF reserves the right to decline participation or approval if a proposed fundraiser does not meet mission alignment or fundraising thresholds.
