Third Party Fundraising Application

Purpose:
Thank you for choosing to organize a fundraiser/event to benefit the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF). This MOU outlines the terms and expectations for your participation.

Event Host Agreement:
By organizing a fundraiser/event for ABCF, you agree to the following:

Compliance:
All fundraising activities must comply with local laws, ABCF policies, and any applicable platform or venue rules.

Use of ABCF Name and Logo:

1. Events should complement the mission, values, and image of ABCF.
2. You may not state or imply that you are an agent, subsidiary, or partner of ABCF or that you hold any other business relationship with ABCF.
3. Publicity for your event may not imply that ABCF sponsors or co-sponsors the event or that ABCF is involved as anything other than the beneficiary.
4. You may not use the ABCF name or logo or indicate to the public that an event is being held for ABCF without prior written consent from an authorized ABCF representative. No public announcements or promotion may occur until ABCF approves your event application.
5. ABCF logos may not be altered in any way, and all use must follow brand standards provided by ABCF.
6. ABCF reserves the right to review and approve all promotional materials—including advertising, letters, brochures, flyers, and press releases—before production or distribution. Proposed materials should be submitted via email to hello@abcf.org.

Fund Collection & Distribution:
Funds raised through your event must be collected and remitted according to ABCF-approved procedures. ABCF will handle all financial transactions and ensure funds are used to support its programs.

Event Approval:

1. Event applications must be completed and submitted to ABCF no less than two weeks prior to the proposed event date. Approval is specific to the dates listed on your application. A new application is required to repeat the event.
2. ABCF must be notified in writing of any significant changes to the event once it has been approved. ABCF may at any time direct you to cancel the event or remove ABCF references. You agree to release ABCF and its officers, directors, and employees from any liability related to such actions.
3. ABCF does not sell or provide donor or staff mailing lists.

Communication:
You will communicate honestly and respectfully with attendees, sponsors, and the public, avoiding misleading statements about ABCF or the use of funds.

Termination:
ABCF reserves the right to cancel or withdraw approval for any event that violates this MOU, misrepresents ABCF, or conflicts with ABCF’s mission.
